Now Online: Tips for Greening Your Event

Faculty and staff who organize events now have a detailed online resource to help them host events that produce less waste.

Quiana Tyson, director of special events, has posted details on the Duke Engineering intranet that:

• List approved green caterers—both on-campus and off
• Provides helpful tips on selecting food, beverages, and tableware—and more— with an eye to sustainability
• Give tips on managing clean-up and waste from green events
